Google Analytics

Pull metrics from Google Analytics 4 into GridWork HQ pipelines.

Connect GridWork HQ to Google Analytics 4 and pull marketing and engagement metrics into your pipelines and reports.

Prerequisites

  • Google Analytics 4 property set up on your website
  • Google Cloud project with the Google Analytics Data API enabled
  • A service account or API key with read access to your GA4 property

Connect to Google Analytics

  1. In Google Cloud Console, go to APIs & Services > Credentials.
  2. Create an API key or service account. Copy the API key.
  3. Enable the Google Analytics Data API for your project.
  4. Note your Google Analytics 4 Property ID (found in GA4 settings).
  5. In GridWork HQ, go to Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics.
  6. Enter your Property ID and API key.
  7. Click Connect.

What It Enables

Once connected, pipeline nodes can pull GA4 data into reports and analyses. You can:

  • Fetch session counts, user counts, and event data.
  • Pull conversion metrics and goal completions.
  • Filter data by date range, traffic source, or custom dimensions.
  • Use metrics as input to downstream pipeline steps.

Only read access is granted. GridWork cannot modify your GA4 configuration or delete data.

Disconnect from Google Analytics

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Google Analytics.
  2. Click Remove or Disconnect.
  3. Revoke the API key in Google Cloud Console if no longer needed.
